How do I add streaming RealAudio?

In order to stream RealAudio files, you must first add this capability to your server. It's a one-time $50 fee, with no additional monthly charge. You can find this under the "Account Upgrades" item in your administration menu.

Once you have this, the first step is to create RealAudio files to upload. You'll need a free program called RealProducer Basic to encode the audio or video from raw .wav files into compressed RealAudio. If you have any questions with the process of creating a .RM or .RV file, please use their support system.

Once you have created and encoded RealAudio or RealVideo content, you can upload your completed .RM or .RV file to the "File Manager" or "Media Manager" items of your "Content" menu. Once added, you'll see a URL address starting with rtsp://. Use this to link to on your site.

RealAudio files count towards your quota, which can be seen under the "Freeform Pages" area. You can remove your files from there if you need to make room in your account.
